The Easter holidays can be a tricky time when you have children with Developmental Trauma. Changes and uncertainty in routine can cause dysregulation and the thought of chocolate, especially when you have a hungry heart, can mean that children become fixated on the thought of Easter and the sugary treats that come with it.
