About The Event

What are 'Trigger Clinics'?

The trigger sessions use Havening Touch™ (Delta brain waves) to de-link triggers and also manage the symptoms of compassion fatigue. This is based on neuroscience and has been extremely successful for parents who are caring for children who have experienced trauma.

During the session the Havener will identify the issue/trigger causing you the most distress. They will then guide you in using the necessary touch and distractions to remove or significantly reduce the emotional content associated with the trigger.

How and where:

The sessions last for 60mins and are held via Zoom. A link will be sent out prior to your appointment taking place.

What is Havening™?

The Havening Techniques™ is a method, which is designed to change the brain to de-traumatize the memory and remove its negative effects from both our psyche and body. As part of its protocol The Havening Technique™ uses the sensory input of human touch as a therapeutic tool which we have identified as Havening Touch™. The process of the Havening Technique™ requires touch. The decision of who should provide the touch must be made jointly. For guidelines Please see The Havening Techniques™ educational materials and certification process.

What is the Havening™ Touch?

Havening Touch™ involves a simple touch of the hands, upper arms and face. This touch generates a delta wave in the brain and as a consequence we also refer to Havening Techniques™ as Delta Techniques™.

There are certain circumstances where the practitioner or the client may not wish to touch or be touched. This is not a problem as the client can self-apply Havening Touch™.

Some of the areas Havening™ can be used for:

· Emotional/Psychological Trauma.

· Anxiety.

· Fears, Phobias and Panic.

· Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

· Depression.

· Compulsions and substance abuse (combined with other therapy)

· Relationship breakups and unwanted behaviours in current relationships.

· Guilt and Shame.

· Trauma.

The above explanations have been taken from the Havening official website - www.havening.org/index.php

Please visit the tickets section to choose your session, please note this limited to one person per session.

This service is available to anyone who is living with a child/ren with Developmental Trauma and would like additional support.
